Reachium tutorial

Personalize with AI

Use AI-written lines and A/B tests to lift reply rates on every message in a sequence.

Before you start

Prerequisites

Switch to the Sequence flow view

In the sequence editor, click the Sequence tab in the top right (it sits next to Content). The editor changes from a list of message cards to a visual flowchart of every step in the campaign.

Open a message step

Find a message node in the flow (for example Send Message 1) and click the pencil icon on it. A Message drawer slides in from the right. This drawer is where AI personalization and A/B testing live.

What you see in the drawer:

  • Version A — the message you're writing. Type into it like a normal text box.
  • AI Templates — a dropdown of AI prompts you can drop into the message.
  • Fallback Message A — a backup that sends if the AI fails for a specific lead.
  • Enable A/B Testing — a toggle that adds a Version B.

Drop in an AI template

Open the AI Templates dropdown. Pick one of the built-in prompts:

  • first line template — AI writes the opening line only.
  • full outreach message — AI writes the whole message.
  • restrained compliment — AI writes a short, low-key compliment.
  • saw you opener — AI writes an opener that references something specific about the lead.

When you pick one, a tag like {{ai:first_line_template}} drops into your message at the cursor. That tag is a placeholder. When Reachium sends the message, the AI reads the lead's LinkedIn profile and replaces the tag with a custom line for that one lead. Every lead gets a different version.

Create your own AI prompt

The built-in templates are useful, but a custom prompt usually performs better because it's written for your audience. Click Manage next to the AI Templates dropdown. The AI Prompt Templates dialog opens.

Click + New Prompt in the top right (or Create your first prompt if it's your first one). Fill in:

  • Name — a short, lowercase label with no spaces. For example founder_opener. Once saved, this prompt becomes the tag {{ai:founder_opener}}.
  • Description (optional) — one line on what this prompt does.
  • Prompt Template — the instructions you give the AI. Write it like you're telling a person what to do. Click the chips under the box to drop in lead data like {{lead.first_name}}, {{lead.company}}, {{lead.headline}}, {{lead.last_post}}.
  • Max Tokens — the longest the AI's output can be. A token is roughly one short word. Use 40 for a one-line opener, 60 for a sentence or two, 120+ for a full message.
  • CreativityConsistent = the AI says similar things every time (safest). Balanced = some variation (good default). Creative = more variety, but more risk of weird output.

Click Save. Your prompt now shows up under Your Workspace Prompts. Close the dialog.

Use your new prompt

Back in the message drawer, open the AI Templates dropdown again. Your prompt is now in the list. Pick it. The tag drops into the message. Set a fallback line.

Turn on A/B testing

Flip the Enable A/B Testing toggle at the bottom of the drawer. A second authoring block appears: Version B. Write a different version of the message there. You can use a different AI template, different wording, anything. When the campaign sends, Reachium splits your leads evenly: half get Version A, half get Version B.

Save

Click Save at the bottom of the drawer. Repeat for any other message in the sequence. When you're done, click Continue to move to the next stage of the campaign.

After

Each lead in the sequence gets a message written for them, with a fallback line for the rare AI miss, and you have two versions running side-by-side to learn which wording wins.
