Open the slash menu
On any empty line, type /. A floating menu pops up with every block type you can insert. Keep typing to filter (for example, /h1, /image, /table) or use arrow keys to scroll. Press Enter to insert.
Pick the right block type
The slash menu groups blocks into categories. The ones you'll use most:
- Headings — Heading 1, Heading 2, Heading 3 for sections and subsections (shortcuts: Ctrl-Alt-1, 2, 3).
- Basic blocks — Paragraph, Bullet List, Numbered List, Check List, Quote, Code Block, Divider, Toggle List.
- Advanced — Table (editable rows and columns).
- Media — Image, Video, Audio, File. Drag and drop a file or paste a URL.
- Others — Emoji, and Link Document to insert an inline link to another Reachium document by typing its name.
Format selected text
Select any run of text. A floating formatting toolbar appears above the selection with: Bold, Italic, Underline, Strikethrough, Code, color, Link, and the block-type dropdown (turn a paragraph into a heading without retyping).
Rearrange blocks
Hover the left edge of any block. A drag handle appears. Click and drag to move the block anywhere in the document. Click the handle to open a per-block menu with Duplicate, Delete, and color options.
Build a real page
A complete document usually combines a Heading 1 title, a short paragraph intro, several Heading 2 sections, supporting paragraphs and lists, and one or two images. The populated example below shows the rhythm: big heading, lead paragraph, hero image, then sections.
Cross-link to other documents
Type / then Link Document. Start typing a doc name and Reachium offers matches. Click one to insert a styled inline link. This is how internal knowledge bases get built: every doc points to the next.
