Create a post

Draft, illustrate, and schedule a LinkedIn post from one screen.

Before you start

Prerequisites

Open the Content Library

Click Content in the left navigation. The Content Library page opens, listing your existing posts.

Start a new post

Click Create New Post. The composer opens with a six-step left sidebar: Idea, Draft, Image, Resource, Campaign, Schedule.

Confirm the idea

Step 1 of the composer fills in TOPIC, HOOK DIRECTION, TREND, and CONTEXT & STATISTICS based on your Brand Profile. Click Change idea to swap. Click Next: Draft.

Edit the draft

Step 2 generates the post body. Choose a draft variation from the dropdown (for example, Lead magnet — Trend-Borrowing) or click Regenerate for a new pass. Edit text directly in the body field. Click Next: Image.

Add an image

Step 3 generates an image from the post content. Choose Image style and Aspect ratio. Click Regenerate image to swap, or Upload image for a custom file. Click Next: Resource.

Attach a resource

Step 4 attaches a document leads receive when they comment. Use the existing document, Replace it, or Unlink to skip. Click Next: Campaign.

Link a campaign

Step 5 wires the post into an outreach campaign so commenters flow into a sequence. Click Link existing to attach an existing campaign, or Create new to spin one up. Click Next: Schedule.

Schedule the post

Step 6 sets the publish slot. Choose an Account to post from, set When, then click Save as scheduled, Save as approved, or Publish now.

Confirm on the Content Schedule

Click View Schedule from the Content Library to confirm the post lands on the Content Schedule calendar at the chosen date. Edit it from the calendar before it publishes.

After

Your post is scheduled. Track engagement from the Content dashboard once it publishes.
